Zhang Chuanwei attended the China Development Forum and delivered a speech: Advocate for global collaboration and build a green energy development future with innovation
On March 23, Zhang Chuanwei, founder and chairman of Ming Yang Group, attended the 2025 Annual Meeting of the China Development Forum and was invited to deliver a keynote speech at the "Chinese and Foreign Entrepreneurs Roundtable" to discuss the future of green energy development with global multinational business leaders.
Zhang Chuanwei pointed out in his speech: "Scientific and technological innovation is the core engine driving the low-carbon transformation of green energy. As a global leader in offshore wind power, Ming Yang Group has persisted in continuous technological innovation for more than 30 years, promoting the development of offshore wind power towards large-scale and deep sea, and solved the problem of developing wind power in the typhoon area of the South China Sea, turning the typhoon area into a "resource area" that can be utilized. By focusing on key technological breakthroughs, Ming Yang has promoted the transformation of wind power from fixed to floating, and from equipment manufacturing to comprehensive energy development solutions, making wind power generation from expensive to affordable, and using technology to drive the low-cost advantage of green electricity."
Facing the trend of restructuring the green industrial chain, Zhang Chuanwei advocates the construction of a transnational collaborative innovation ecosystem: "Offshore wind power development is related to the common destiny of mankind, and the integration of the global industrial chain can turn 'electricity from the sea' into a solution that benefits the world. The international community should work closely on offshore wind power and clean energy technology and equipment to jointly promote the low-carbon transformation and development of human society and form green momentum."
